On October 31 of 2022, the day of Halloween (spooky, I know), my fiance (Italian) and I (Indonesian) finally submitted our wedding publication in Milan.
Contrary to popular belief, once the foreign spouse obtains his or her nulla osta, everything’s smooth sailing.
These are the only documents you need:
- A photocopy of both the bride and groom’s ID
- The Italian citizen’s birth certificate
- The foreign spouse’s nulla osta
